3. Change-of-mind returns
We accept returns for change of mind within 30 days of the date your order is delivered, provided the item meets the condition requirements in section 4. This is a commercial policy we offer voluntarily and is in addition to, not instead of, your statutory rights described in sections 10 and 11.
4. Condition requirements
To be accepted, returned items must be:
- unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with no signs of use, odour, marking or pet hair;
- complete with all original tags still attached, and returned in their original packaging;
- free from any alteration, including hemming or tailoring.
Footwear. Please try shoes on indoors, on a clean carpeted surface. Soles must be unmarked. Footwear returned with visible sole wear, scuffing or creasing to the upper cannot be accepted. Shoes must be returned in their original box, and the box should be placed inside an outer carton rather than being used as the shipping container.
Items that arrive back in a condition that does not meet these requirements may be returned to you at your cost, or refunded in part at our discretion, subject always to the guarantees described in section 10.
5. Items we cannot accept
- Items damaged after delivery through misuse, accident or failure to follow the care instructions on our Garment Care page.
- Items returned outside the 30-day window without a fault having arisen.
- Items returned without prior authorisation, as described in section 6.
Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods are faulty or not as described.
6. How to make a return
- Email support@anyoral.com within the 30-day window. Include your order number, the items you wish to return, and whether the return is for change of mind or because of a fault.
- We will reply with a return authorisation and the correct return address. Do not send items to our registered business address in Lara — it is not a returns facility and parcels sent there may not reach us.
- Post the parcel within 14 days of receiving that authorisation, using a tracked service.
- Keep your proof of postage and tracking number until your refund has been processed.
Returns sent without prior authorisation cannot be identified against an order and cannot be processed.
7. Return postage and risk
For change-of-mind returns, return postage is at your cost and is not reimbursed. We recommend a tracked and insured service: until a returned parcel reaches us, it remains at your risk, and we cannot refund items we do not receive.
Where an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, we cover reasonable return postage. Send us the receipt and we will reimburse it alongside your refund.
Original outbound shipping charges are refunded only where the item was faulty, damaged or incorrect, or where you are exercising a statutory cancellation right under section 11.
8. Refunds
Once your return arrives we will inspect it and email you the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of inspection. Your bank or card issuer typically takes a further 5 to 10 days to display the credit; that period is outside our control.
All refunds are issued in Australian dollars (AUD), the currency in which the order was charged. If your payment card is denominated in another currency, the amount credited may differ slightly from the amount originally debited because of exchange-rate movement between the two dates, and your bank may apply its own foreign transaction fee. These differences are set by your financial institution and cannot be reimbursed by us.
9. Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different size or colour, return the original item for a refund under this policy and place a new order for the size you want. This is faster than an exchange and avoids the replacement selling out while your return is in transit.
10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items — Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If something arrives faulty, damaged or is not the item you ordered, email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photographs showing the issue. We will arrange return postage at our cost and provide a replacement or full refund, including original shipping charges. Where a fault appears later in the life of the garment, contact us and we will assess it against the acceptable-quality guarantee — that guarantee is not limited to 30 days.
11. Additional rights for United Kingdom customers
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. To cancel, tell us in writing at support@anyoral.com within that period. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
On cancellation we refund the price of the goods together with the standard outbound delivery charge. You bear the cost of returning the goods. We may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value where the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
You also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
12. International orders, duties and taxes
Orders delivered outside Australia may attract import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country. These are payable by you, are not collected by us, and are not refundable by us if you return an item. You may be able to reclaim them directly from your local customs authority — we will supply documentation to support such a claim on request.
13. Cancelling before dispatch
You may cancel any order at no cost before it is dispatched. Email us as soon as possible with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched it must be handled as a return under this policy.
14. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how a return has been handled, email support@anyoral.com marking your message for the attention of customer service. Australian customers may also contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission or their state consumer affairs body. UK customers may contact Citizens Advice.
